Helius is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, Backend
Helius is a developer infrastructure company for Solana, providing RPC nodes, APIs, webhooks, and data-streaming tools that power many of the ecosystem's leading applications. Customers include Coinbase, Jupiter, and Phantom, and it has raised over $34M from Haun Ventures, Founders Fund, and others.
Helius is hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to own one of the core systems behind its Solana developer platform — Gatekeeper, Data Streaming, Historical APIs, or Account Index. These are the foundational layers customers like Coinbase, Jupiter, and Phantom build on.
What you'll do
- Take full ownership of a core platform system, from architecture to on-call
- Build infrastructure that stays fast and correct at Solana's throughput
- Set technical direction for how the platform scales
Requirements
- Staff-level backend experience on high-throughput, low-latency systems
- Strong Rust or comparable systems language
- Familiarity with blockchain data and indexing is a plus
