Mode Mobile is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer

The Role

The Business Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, designing scalable and efficient solutions, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of data.

Who You Are And What You’ll Do

• Design and develop business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure data quality and consistency
• Design and develop dashboards and reports to visualize data and provide insights to stakeholders
• Optimize and tune queries and processes to ensure scalability and efficiency
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the performance and usability of business intelligence solutions
• Work with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data and troubleshoot any data-related issues
• Train and mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership to the team

What You Bring To The Team

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science)
• 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or related field
• Strong experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data pipelines
• Experience with designing and developing dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency in Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data management best practices
• Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools such as Jira
