Babb Group is hiring a Blockchain Infrastructure Developer
BABB is an FCA regulated company based in London, operating in the financial technology industry. The company was founded by Rushd Averroes in 2018 and focuses on decentralized banking systems offering peer-to-peer money and crypto transfers.

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality blockchain solutions.
- Take ownership of the company’s mainnet Layer 1 blockchain.
- Contribute to the estimations, planning and execution of projects, features, and integrations.
- Participate in writing fully tested, high quality and performant code.
Candidate Qualifications
- 2+ years of Layer 1 solution architecture experience.
- Fluency in blockchain (not smart-contract!) Layer 1 development.
- 4+ years in the blockchain field and experience building mainnet Layer 1s.
- Experience building production-grade cryptocurrency wallets.
- Experience building smart contracts and protocols.
- Solid experience with Ethereum and Bitcoin blockchains.
- A deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, theories, principles, and best practices.
- Extensive backend engineering experience at leading startups or fast growing tech companies.
- Practical experience in DEX creation.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in CS/Mathematics/Physics.
- Quick learner with an ambitious and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding communication and organisational abilities.
- Fluent English.

- Experience in fintech and startup environments.
